Social media is full of quotes. Some complain too full. And I understand that. After the 435th post with a ripped gymgoer or a suited entrepreneur telling you there is no substitute for hard work, you start getting irritated.

But, however overused, I still on a fundamental level believe in quotes. No, reading a quote can never be a substitute for doing the actual work, but an effective quote can be something to hold on to during a difficult hour, when one is in need of an added source of inspiration and strength.

Besides, I am an intrinsically motivated person, because I do what I love, and I know what I want.
