Hi everybody. This was a difficult topic to write about, and I just wanted to thank all of you for being so positive and kind in the comments. I was nervous about submitting this piece, but my heart was in the right place and I hoped that would come across. But I didn't expect this positive a reception, so I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you.

I must also acknowledge that a couple of you didn't receive this as positively, and that is completely okay. Had I lost a family member to suicide, I am sure this would have been a touchy subject for me too. Please know my intention was not to belittle or mock your loss.

This was a risk writing something like this ran, but I hoped the positive responses would outweigh the negatives. But I didn't expect it would to this extent. So again, thank you so, so much.
