I have long desired to set up both a stable source of income, because being a freelance writer is anything but stable, and to build a deeper connection with my readers, which is genuinely important to me.

So, to kill two birds with one stone, I have introduced a membership program on Buy Me a Coffee where my most loyal readers can support me financially on a monthly basis in exchange for exclusive rewards.

There are three levels, each of whose pricing and benefits you can see below:

In case the screenshots aren’t clear, the benefits of the three tiers are:

9. [Black] A 45-minute 1-on-1 video call per month to coach you on your Medium/book writing goals

Extras are products. So if I create and sell something like a Medium Starter Kit course, or a guide on writing a book from scratch using my own unique method, that will constitute an extra.

I am also thinking of starting a Discord server, where all my subscribers and I can chat. If you know any other forum where that’ll be possible, do let me know.

The pricing details are as follows:

• Platinum: $10/month
• Black: $25/month
• Ultimate (one-time purchase to get Black for life): $350

I have priced the tiers so there is something for everyone. I hope the pricing and the benefits are fair.

I have two reasons for starting this subscription:

1. The Selfish Reason: Me needs da cash.
2. The Selfless Reason: I have always wanted to create a community, a safe space, for people from all walks of life to come and just be. And I have always wanted to help people realize their writing goals, which the premium newsletters and the extras will do. Most of you probably know me from the mental illness articles I have written. Then you know who I am, and what I want. This subscription service is, at its core, a system of give-and-take without middlemen. Just us. A more direct, mutually beneficial connection.

I am calling this membership program The Universe of Chandrayan, because I don’t think I’m ENOUGH of a self-aggrandizing tool already (and I suck at thinking of names).
