It’s finally happened.
My fourth book, a psychological family thriller titled Motherson, is finally available commercially across the world.
Motherson follows Abhik Burman, a teenager who discovers a bloody knife hidden in his house, a house he shares only with his estranged mother, Lipi. This is at a time when their neighborhood’s been ravaged by a horrific spate of brutal serial killings… all of them stabbings.
Abhik connects the dots and launches an investigation into his mother. Where does she go when she leaves the house in the middle of the night? What’s she hiding from him? Why does she keep lying to him? Every piece of evidence he uncovers could be interpreted in multiple, and soon Abhik discovers it’s his mother’s word against the world’s. Whose will he choose to trust? Will it be the right choice? Will the woman who birthed him now end him?
